Our Ministers

History

More than 130 years ago a group of Leicester people took a huge step of faith and launched out to spread the light of Jesus into the city. Read about the wonderful story and be inspired to walk in their footsteps.

Paul Bassett has been with us for over 30 years. He is married and has one son. He has written two books. “God’s Way” published by Evangelical Press and “Heaven Begins Here” published by Ambassador.

Gurnam Singh has been with us for 7 years. He is married and has two children. His testimony can be found in the book, “He Found Me” published by Christian Focus.

Our Church

We are an Independant Evangelical Free Church. This means we are not affiliated to any other organisation or denomination. Evangelical means “gospel”. We believe and preach the good news about Jesus Christ. To us Jesus Christ is the only Saviour of sinners, who died on the cross and rose again on the third day.

Though we are registered charity and we are not funded by the state nor are our aims and directives governed by anyone from outside.
